Up to 20% of children under age 1 experience skin allergies, if allergies are not detected early and controlled, this can and will progress into indoor/outdoor allergies, asthma, hay fever, and other more severe chronic conditions. We hope the Baby Allergy Journal will help parents find the answers they need and will serve as an interactive journal to keep track of their child's daily skin allergy symptoms, treatment and triggers, and severity levels, in order to generate a statistical report of effectiveness of treatment and possible causes. We hope to help parents of allergic children better understand their children's allergies, while achieving better communication with healthcare professional to gain control of the allergy.
